Chasity among the youth

I woke up this morning and I found out that sexual sin is really exists and some people that I knew (which I thought "innocent people") got tempted. This things actually happened a long time ago thing but I just found out today. It's kinda hard to belive though. How old were those people? Guess! Some of them were 15!!!! How young!!!! ( They're around 17 right now) oh... how sad! Some are in late high school years (which like 16 or 17 I believe) and some are around 21.

I mean I know that partucular sin is there, but I've never thought that it would tempt the people that I know. You might ask, "How do you know, Gabriella?" They got pregnant! Oh... c'mon! They were so young!!!! Why did they spend time on dating????!!!!??? What didn't they just focus on school and their dreams??? Didn't they have any dream?

C'mon teenagers and young adults! We are young! Let's have great dreams and serve the Lord with our wholeheart!!! Help others! Work! Study! Join the peace corps! Go to mission trips!There's a lot of fun things out there beside dating! Trust me!

So for today. I really pray for rebirth of chasity especially among the youth.. and for those who are "pure", I pray that God will keep the pure people pure. You know what I mean?

For those who haven't read When God Writes Your Love Story (Eric and Leslie Ludy) and I Kissed Dating Goodbye (Joshua Harris), I really suggest you to read that book, either you're single or you're in a relationship. Passion and Purity seems to be a good book too. (I've read them all but Passion and Purity. I'm planning to read it sometime this summer)

How to help yourself? One of the things to help yourself is to pray. (If you're a Catholic you could say 3 hail marys each day for purity of mind, heart, and body... ask Mother Mary, St. Joseph, or St. Maria Goretti to intercede for you)

So... good luck everyone!

Ooops.. one more thing: You might don't know who your future spouse is right now.... if you love him/her already (since you trust God's best), you could start to PRAY for them. You can't be too young to start to prepare for your future!!!!

What a world!!!! Pray pray pray!!!!! This world need people who pray and love God!
Guys, it's almost Easter, do something good. Pray for others, ok!

These are some of the things that I found out today:
1. I can open the glass door.. but I can't close it.
2. It's warm.... feels like summer.
3. My parents allow me to have a spring break for a week but I'll have some classes!
4. I can't wait till it's summer.. (in other words... the end of school year)
5. 2 jerks deleted me as their friends on facebook.
6. my sweet friends are in honor roll (well, I just found that out).
7. People have to be nice to me so that they'll get a good luck (ha ha ha...jk)
7. I'm looking forward to Easter cuz I'll do some stuff with my family on Easter.
8. I'm addicted to Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Darcy is so cool! I love Lizzie too!)
9. I'm an assistant DA... (yay...I'm Jae Hee's assistant (even only on fb)! I love* you Jae Hee!!!!!!!)
10. What else... today is Sunday and I don't feel like to do any homework... but I have to... or someone's gonna whip me.

You know, it might sound crazy, but it's real. I have this friend of mine that is really nice (used to be I guess..) and... not again. I was incredibly shocked when I found out that this ex-friend of mine says tons of super bad words. It broke my heart when I knew that my other friend not practice the faith and said bad stuff...now... I know 2 people that used to be like an angel and say super bad words. May God forgive and bless them. (I'm 100% honest in this prayer....)

Decalogue of Pope John XXIII

The Chruch's holiness and human wisdom are expressed very clearly in what is called "The daily decalouge of Pope John XXIII":

1) Only for today, I will seek to live the livelong day positively without wishing to solve the problems of my life all at once.

I went to Indianapolis today for a field trip. It was good. At first, we had a few stops because we thought that Mrs. Mellon's car had something wrong, thank goodness her car was ok. The divine liturgy was just so awesome. I'm Roman Catholic and today was my second time going to a divine liturgy in an eastern catholic chruch. Last time, I went to a Maronite chruch and today I went to a Byzantine chruch. The lunch was just great. It was really good. We had chilli with cheese... one of my favorites.
On the way home, we watched the movie of St. Therese. It was really good too. My sister was kinda funny when we watched that. My friend, Rick, also made some few little silly jokes. ha ha. that's ok.

Today is the first snow-- this year. Actually... cold weather reminds me of skating. I really want to go skating. There's this place called the Western Rollama Skating Rink in Crookshank. I don't know much about that rink... anyway... maybe I'll go there sometimes.

By the way... I'm so glad I finnally..mmph.. sort of 'get in touch' with my "long lost 'friend'" (he had never been a really FRIEND of mine. We knew each other but we hardly talked. Praist the Lord! Other good news: I'll be off tomorrow.. and I'm going to read a book (how to lose your accent in 28 days). I desperately want to lose my Indonesian accent when I speak in English. so yeap.. hopefully.. I'll lose my accent... SOON! --keep praying for me...he he''--

I started school last week. It was good. Two days ago, Rachael and Maria came over here and we watched a walk to remember. OMG I love that movie so much! it's totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've done with school for this week (i worked all day long yesterday so I could have a long weekend -today, tomorrow, and monday because of labor day).

World Youth Day 2008

Well... I guess you all know about the upcoming world youth day in Sydney, Australia. Ok.. this is doesn't mean that I don't want to go, but I don't feel reallylike to go there with my group. I mean... What are we going to do there? (I haven't gone to a world youth day before) We'll just spend like a lot of money for that? It's not THAT a lot actually.. it's just the fact that I want to go to Australia as an exchange student next year than going to go there in 2008 just for the WYD. BUt my dad wants me to go to the world youth day and he seems like wants me to just let the chance of being an exchange student go! I really want to go there for study! I mean I would love to go to a WYD but there will be another WYD in the future, but the chance of being an exchange student won't come annualy you know! and my mom's friend said that it's better to go there for WYD than to study! da... I've been there before! What I want is not to be in there... but I want to study. She said that it's better for me to start saving my money for WYD than for the exchange!

O Lord.... I'm realy confused.... Please help me... I hope I could just go to both of the events but I don't think its possible for me... but Lord... I believe that with You nothing is impossible. I pray that Your will... Your heart's desire be done in my life. Lord... I pray so that my love for You grow stronger everyday. And Lord, please hlp me to choose... between both of those interesting opportunity. Let Your will be done!
